Dr. Sarkhel (MBBS, FRCPsych (UK), DPM (Dublin), MSc) is an incredibly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with over 25 years of experience in Mental Health services. He is on the Specialist Register of General Medical Council and a member and Fellow of The Royal College of Psychiatrists. Dr. Sarkhel specialises in Adult Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry and the administration of Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS/TMS). He has recently become a member of Clinical TMS Society which is headquartered in California and sits on their outreach committee.

Dr. Sarkhel has had post graduate basic training in Psychiatry in England in a Psychiatric Training Scheme recognised by The Royal College Of Psychiatrists. During his basic training he had experience in Adult Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Learning Disability, Forensic Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Substance Abuse.
He completed MRCPsych examination and became a member of The Royal College Of Psychiatrists. Dr. Sarkhel then joined a Higher Specialist Training scheme at London accredited by The Royal College Of Psychiatrists. During his higher training he also worked as a clinical teaching fellow for undergraduate medical students in Imperial College, London. After completion of this training he was awarded Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) by PMETB and GMC. He is on Specialist Register of General Medical Council (GMC) for Adult Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry and Liaison Psychiatry. He has published a number of research articles in peer reviewed journals. He is currently an examiner for MRCPsych for The Royal College Of Psychiatrists.
Dr. Sarkhel has now been delivering rTMS, a state of the art, non invasive, drug free treatment for Depression, Anxiety and many other Psychiatric disorders. he has developed special interest and expertise in the field of rTMS.
Dr. Sarkhel has a got particular interest in Stress related disorders including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). He has strong emphasis on Evidence Based Practice. Dr. Sarkhel is also trained in Medical Acupuncture which he uses as an adjunctive treatment for various Psychiatric Disorders and Chronic Pain.

Malini Sarkhel is a fully qualified Reflexologist and has received a national award in the Highly Commended category by the Federation of Holistic Therapists for her commitment, specialist knowledge and skills in Reflexology. Malini has a wealth of experience and specialises in Reflexology for stress and anxiety, depression, back pain, lymph drainage, infertility, pregnancy and cancer care and insomnia.
Malini has a particular interest in treating patients with mental health problems with reflexology. As well as Dr Sarkhel, she is also trained to conduct rTMS (Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) which is shown to be beneficial in the treatment of a number of conditions from depression, substance-abuse problems, anxiety and many more. Together with Dr. Sarkhel, Malini administers rTMS in a therapeutic manner, offering patients the chance to work on their symptoms using a combined methodology of psychiatry, reflexology, acupuncture and mindfulness.

Dr. Mousumi Banerjee
Dr. Mousumi Banerjee MBBS, MRCGP (UK), DFSRH (UK), an experienced GP with a special interest in Diabetes and Woman’s Health.
Dr. Banerjee graduated in India before coming to the UK for higher training. She trained in General Medicine mainly in Diabetes and Endocrinology. For the last 10 years she has been working in General Practice and is on the Register of General Medical Council and a member of The Royal College of General Practitioners.
Dr. Banerjee has a special interest in diabetes particularly involving the development of holistic management plans including lifestyle issues alongside medical care. She also has expertise in managing various woman’s issues including sexual health and contraception advice.
Dr. Banerjee works only at our Essex clinic - The Crushes Manor Clinic in Brentwood.
Dr. Gurleen Bhatia
Dr Gurleen Bhatia is a Consultant Psychiatrist. She completed her primary medical qualification from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India in 1994 . She gained further experience in general practice, obstetrics and gynaecology, prior to pursuing her career in psychiatry. She completed her junior and higher training in the Charing Cross Scheme and obtained her CCT in General Adult Psychiatry with an endorsement in Rehabilitation Psychiatry. She has experience working in the forensic, older adult services and with patients with complex physical health needs. She has been associated with the clinic as a specialist registrar and now employed as a substantive Consultant in the Gender Clinic.
She is an experienced Psychiatrist with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. Dr. Bhatia is skilled in Clinical Research, Medical Education, Clinical Supervision, Medicine, and Change Management. She is a strong consulting professional with a MRCPsych focused in General Adult & Rehabilitation Psychiatry from The Royal College of Psychiatrists, London. Dr. Bhatia is in good standing order for Continuing Professional Activities as certified by the Royal College of Psychiatrists
Dr. Sarmila Sinha
Dr. Sinha (MBBS, MRCPsych (UK), MSc in Transcultural Psychiatry, London) is an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with over 15 years of experience in Mental Health services. Dr Sinha has had post graduate basic training in Psychiatry in England in a Psychiatric Training Scheme recognised by The Royal College Of Psychiatrists.
She completed MRCPsych and is on the Specialist Register of General Medical Council and a member of The Royal College of Psychiatrists. After completion of this training she was awarded Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) by PMETB and GMC. She is on Specialist Register of General Medical Council (GMC) for Adult Psychiatry.
Dr. Sinha specialises in General Adult Psychiatry and has also worked as a substantive Consultant Psychiatrist in the field of Eating Disorders. Her team won the Best Eating Disorders Team award by BEAT in 2014. During her work in NHS, Dr Sinha was a health and well-being ambassador for doctors within the NHS Trust.
