Reflexology at Living Mind

Reflexology treatments complement medical interventions aiding effective functioning of the human body and mind.

Reflexology is a non-invasive treatment that involves the application of pressure to specific reflex points on areas on the feet or hands. These locations are said to correspond to different parts of the body where organs and bodily systems are located. The application of pressure in these areas brings relaxation and healing to the corresponding bodily area, whilst alleviating stress at the same time.

Reflexology is a holistic treatment that complements medical interventions, diet, exercise and other therapies. These play an important role in effective functioning of the human body.

The Initial treatment with Consultation could last for 1 and a half hours. Typically a follow up treatment lasts for 45 minutes to an hour.

We also offer specialist Reflexology for Lymph Drainage (RLD) for those suffering with Secondary Lymphoedema, find out more here:

Who can benefit from Reflexology treatments?

A reflexology treatment can be highly beneficial for both ‘healthy’ people, and those suffering from a range of acute and chronic illnesses.

As it is a non-invasive treatment, it is suitable for people from all stages of life, including the elderly and babies. The practice relieves stress, which can be a driver in a number of other conditions such as anxiety and back pain. This cycle can often be broken through reflexology and will allow the body to reach its natural level of homeostasis and balance. We offer a specialist reflexology session for those suffering from Lymphoedema as this treatment stimulates the flow of toxins out of the body.

"Reflexology sessions have done wonders for my sleep! Before starting the sessions I would wake up every morning feeling more tired than before I got into bed.
