Private ECG (Electrocardiography) at Living Mind - London and Essex
We offer ECG testing at our London and Essex Clinics. We use a 12 lead ECG machine to perform a simple test that can be used to check your heart's rhythm and electrical activity. Sensors attached to the skin are used to detect the electrical signals produced by your heart each time it beats. These signals are recorded by a machine and are looked at by a doctor to see if they're unusual. ECG is used to investigate symptoms of a possible heart problem, such as chest pain, palpitations (suddenly noticeable heartbeats), dizziness and shortness of breath. Dr Sarkhel advises ECG as a baseline test before starting medications for mental health i.e antipsychotics, antidepressants etc.
Appointments take up to 15 minutes and you are able to get immediate results. We are unable to provide you a report but can give you the ECG tracing strip.

Private Blood Testing - London
Another service we offer is private blood testing. During your appointment an experienced member of our team will will take your sample, at a time convenient to you. Blood testing is available at our Harley Street London clinic.
