Introduction to Mental Health & Risk Assessment Training

This will help who are working or planning to start working with residents or patients suffering from mental health difficulties.By the end of this course you should be able to have basic understanding of mental health, assessment procedures, various treatment options and issues with risk and vulnerability.

Staff in care home, residential home, nursing homes and hospitals, GPs, staff from pharmaceutical industry.

- Concepts of mental health and mental illness
- Assessment process, Common mental illnesses.
- Signs and symptoms for- depression, anxiety, OCD, eating disorder, psychotic illness, addiction etc.
- Management options and principles.
- Risk assessment including suicide and deliberate self harm. Mental Health Act.

Certification
On completion of the training, delegates will receive a Mental Health & Risk Assessment certificate after successfully attending the course.

Dementia Awareness Training

This will help who are working or planning to start working with residents or patients suffering from cognitive impairment or dementia. .By the end of this course you should be able to have basic understanding of common types of dementia, common symptoms, various treatment options and issues with risk and vulnerability.

GPs, staff in care home, residential home and hospitals, staff from pharmaceutical industry.
